USPA powerlifting has continued to grow rapidly as the “alternative” the the USAPL and the IPF–and now it looks like they are taking it a step even further. Teaming up with Pioneer, the Texas division of USPA is now working to bring together the largest powerlifting event in history…ever.

Once the details are solidified by Pioneer, invites to specific athletes will be sent out. As an invite-only event, you can be sure that only the best of the best will be present on the platform. Even better, all entry fees will be paid for and spectators won’t have to pay a dime.

Confirmed by USPA Texas State Chair Bobby Morgan, the showdown will be a 2-day event with both men and women lifting. While the meet is still in the works, Pioneer is a huge sponsor and will likely be able to move forward sooner rather than later.
