The keto menu at Bonefish Grill offers a variety of options, including the bar's signature sangria from their featured favorites, as well as starters and sharing dishes like Bang Bang Shrimp, Ahi Tuna Poke, and Imperial Crunch Sashimi Tuna.

There is not a published Bonefish Grill keto option on website even though many of the foods and drinks they offer are keto-friendly.1

Thankfully they do at least have a nutrition option, so we compiled a comprehensive list of everything keto that this restaurant offers–from appetizers to after-dinner drinks and desserts–so those wondering whether or not Bonefish Grill is keto mustn’t look any further.

However, it’s important to note that dieters should avoid this fish, or more so, certain types of shell fish in order to remain keto compliant.

That being said, check out our up to date keto option with 102 options below and see the carb count of each option item along with which shell fish will kick you out of ketosis.

102 Bonefish Grill Keto Options: Bonefish Grill Low Carb Foods & Drinks Option

When it comes to fueling the body, proper nutrition is key whether on weight loss diets or simply wanting to eat well. Take a look at some of Bonefish Grill’s best keto-friendly appetizers and the macros for each.

Since the “bang bang shrimp” gets awfully close to the daily carb limit for keto, one may want to split this with someone or save some for later. It is high in fat though, which is ideal for keto.

Avoid This Fish at Bonefish Grill

While we’ve seen that some of the seafood and fish platters at Bonefish Grill are completely keto compliant, some types of shellfish are surprisingly carb-heavy.

Oysters, mussels, and imitation crab are higher in carbs and should be avoided or consumed in very small portions, but seafood lovers can still indulge in some shellfish as long as the dish fits under 30 grams of carbs per serving.

Shellfish with very few to no carbs include crab, conch, snails, crawfish, and shrimp. Not only is crawfish suitable for a keto diet, but it is also minimally processed and free from harmful additives.

Shellfish with higher carb counts that should be eaten in small portions or moderation, if at all, include:

  • Clams (5.1g net carbs per 100g)
  • Scallops (5.4g net carbs per 100g)
  • Abalone (6g net carbs per 100g)
  • Oysters (7.3g net carbs per 100g)
  • Mussels (7.4g net carbs per 100g)
  • Imitation Crab (14.5g net carbs per 100g)
  • Whelk (15.5g net carbs per 100g)

Note, although shrimp is a shellfish, it’s very low carb at .2g per 100 grams so keto dieters can eat shrimp with almost zero constraints.

Keep in mind that the daily carb limit for keto ranges from 20-50 grams of carbs, so it’s very important to make sure that one’s meals, snacks, and drinks do not exceed their daily limit. It isn’t a matter of keeping each option item under this limit, but the entire total daily intake so be very mindful of this.

What Else Should Be Avoided at Bonefish Grill Keto?

Unfortunately at Bonefish Grill, keto option items are not found in every category of dish. For example, in their “from the dock” section, nothing is keto-friendly whatsoever.

These Bonefish Grill option items are not suitable for someone on a low carb high fat diet such as keto:9

  • Ahi Tuna Poke: 64g net carbs, 24g fat, 36g protein
